Data file name and ID: Reactive Gas Concentration Dataset in Background Region of Gongga Mountain, China (2018); (1 single file). This dataset contains hourly average concentration records of 5 or more reactive gases including NO, NO2, NOX, O3, CO and SO2, and includes concentration measurements of atmospheric reactive gases (SO2, O3, NO, NO2, NOX or CO) in the background region. The objectives of this dataset are: 1) to investigate the long-term variation patterns of atmospheric reactive gases; 2) to clarify the dynamic distribution, spatiotemporal patterns and evolutionary trends of reactive gas concentrations in China's background regions; 3) to provide fundamental parameters and validation data for model simulations and satellite retrievals of spatiotemporal distributions of atmospheric aerosols; 4) to supply accurate foundational scientific datasets for relevant research teams. It can serve as a data reference for students and researchers engaged in atmospheric environment and atmospheric chemistry studies. Data collection was conducted in 2018 at the Meteorological Observatory of Gongga Mountain Ecological Research Station, Chinese Academy of Sciences, with geographic coordinates 29°38′, 102°92′. This dataset falls within the scope of atmospheric science. The total size of all tabular data is approximately 0.13 MB. This database is categorized as attribute data. The dataset will be updated and supplemented on an irregular basis.
