Research and Innovation on Urban Rail in Europe - list of projects

The dataset is extracted from the TRIMIS database of projects. It contains European research and innovation projects on urban rail. Urban rail includes suburban trains, light rail, metro, and tram networks and usually operates on fixed routes, with frequent departures, and uses high-capacity rolling stock.
The list contains 18 identified projects funded from diverse funding programmes. The file contains all the data used in JRC Science for Policy Brief: "Research and Innovation on Urban Rail in Europe".
