Water masses — bottom flow

The dataset is part of the pilot project “Marine Base Chart in the Coastal Zone” and shows currents a few metres above the seabed. It covers the three pilot areas Nye Stavanger municipality, Ålesund/Giske in Sunnmøre and Kvenangen in Troms. Bottom current is derived from a two-year simulation with a three-dimensional hydrodynamic current model.
