External jugular vein hemangioma: case report

Abstract Hemangioma is a common tumor, normally diagnosed in children, and accounting for almost 10% of benign neoplasms. A hemangioma arising from the wall of a vessel is rare, and must be differentiated from other vascular malformations of the same origin. We report a rare case of a hemangioma arising from the wall of an external jugular vein and discuss diagnostic work-up and management.摘要 血管瘤是一类常见肿瘤，好发于儿童群体，约占良性肿瘤的10%。起源于血管壁的血管瘤较为罕见，需与同源的其他血管畸形进行鉴别诊断。本文报告1例起源于颈外静脉壁的罕见血管瘤病例，并对其诊断检查流程与治疗方案展开探讨。
