This dataset contains the simulation setup files used for the thermophysical simulations with MoCSI (https://zenodo.org/records/17062991) for the publication "Thermal modeling for asteroid surface characterization: Apophis as a case study" by Aussel et al. Each folder is named similar to the model names given in the paper: Regolith model: regolith_model_r[grain radius in m]_phi[volume filling factor]_ahelio[heliocentric distance in AU] Hierarchical regolith model: hierarchical_regolith_[henke/flynn]_model_r[grain radius in m]_phi[volume filling factor]_ahelio[heliocentric distance in AU] Porous rock model: [henke/flynn]_porous_rock_model_ahelio[heliocentric distance in AU] Hierarchical porous rock model: maxwell_[henke/flynn]_model_d_pore[pore radius in m]_psi[porosity]_ahelio[heliocentric distance in AU] Each folder contains the used executable, the used ini files (required to reproduce the simulation) and the output file.
