The cartographic model 1:50 000 – grid (KM50-R) is the digital state map of the entire Austrian territory in a basic scale of 1:50 000. It is free of blades and georeferenced. The update takes place nationwide at periodic intervals but also on occasions in the event of significant infrastructural changes. The Austrian map 1:50 000 (ÖK50) – in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Defence (BMLV) – as well as the Austrian map 1:25 000 (ÖK25V) is derived from the KM50-R. This 50 km x 50 km tile is one of a total of 63 tiles, which together cover the territory of Austria1:50000比例尺格网制图模型（KM50-R）是覆盖奥地利全境的1:50000基础比例尺官方数字地图。该数据无拼接且已完成地理配准，采用全国范围定期更新机制，同时在发生重大基础设施变更时亦可随时开展更新。1:50000奥地利官方地图（ÖK50）——由奥地利联邦国防部（BMLV）合作研发——以及1:25000奥地利官方地图（ÖK25V）均衍生自KM50-R数据集。该模型由总计63幅50千米×50千米的格网瓦片组成，所有瓦片共同覆盖奥地利全部领土。
