东印度洋综合科学考察自2010年开始，由中科院南海海洋研究所负责实施，调查船为“实验1”号科考船，调查区域范围包括80E-111E，6S-10N。大面温盐观测数据集包含温度、盐度、密度等的观测值。
The Comprehensive Scientific Expedition in the Eastern Indian Ocean was initiated in 2010, and was organized and implemented by the South China Sea Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The research vessel employed was RV "Shiyan 1". The survey area covers 80°E–111°E and 6°S–10°N. The synoptic temperature and salinity observation dataset includes measured values of temperature, salinity, density and other related oceanographic parameters.
