Global shipping emissions from 2019 to 2020

The shipping emission datasets of the globe with 9 species (NOx, CO, HC, SO2, PM2.5, CO2, N2O, CH4 and BC) with a spatial resolution of 0.1o × 0.1o, the temporal resolution of days from 2019 to 2020 were established based on SEIMv2.1 (Sipping Emission Inventory Model). SEIMv2.1 is an updated version of SEIMv2.0 (https://acp.copernicus.org/articles/21/13835/2021/), which integrates the latest emission factors from the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Fourth GHG Study and the BC calculation module. In addition, this dataset also includes a set of continental voyage-based shipping emission data from 2019 to 2020. The voyage identification employed the VoySEIM (Voyage-based Shipping Emission Inventory Model, https://www.nature.com/articles/s41558-021-01176-6).
