EVALUATION OF THE EFFECTIVENESS AND SAFETY OF PREVENTIVE METHODS FOR NEONATAL PAIN SYNDROME
收藏资源简介:
Neonatal pain management remains a critical challenge in modern neonatal intensive care and pediatric surgery due to the increasing number of invasive procedures. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of preventive methods for neonatal pain syndrome. A prospective observational study included 83 neonates with surgical pathologies. Pain was assessed using validated scales (CRIES, NFCS, and PIPP) during preoperative and postoperative periods. The results demonstrated a significant increase in postoperative pain intensity compared to baseline levels, followed by a meaningful reduction after analgesic interventions. Non-pharmacological methods, including sucrose administration, breastfeeding, and skin-to-skin contact, contributed to a reduction in pain indicators. The combination of pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches showed greater effectiveness compared to single-modality interventions. In conclusion, neonatal pain requires systematic assessment and a multimodal management strategy. The use of standardized pain scales and combined analgesic methods significantly improves clinical outcomes and enhances patient safety.
