This dataset contains the economic value of sediment deposition reduction by vegetation ecosystems across a 1-kilometer grid in Sichuan Province for the year 2000, with a spatial resolution of 1 km and an annual temporal resolution. It is primarily designed for relevant research in geography, ecology, resource and environmental science, and other related disciplines. Precipitation data was subjected to downscaling processing to achieve a final resolution of 1 km. Specifically, slope length and slope steepness factors were extracted from DEM using ArcGIS tools; rainfall erosivity was calculated based on a regression model of rainfall erosivity derived from runoff plot observations conducted in Fuling District, the central region of the Three Gorges Reservoir Area; soil erodibility factors were extracted based on soil type datasets; and all relevant computations were completed using the Raster Calculator tool in the ArcGIS 10.2 toolbox.
