Urban biodiversity assessment by aquatic eDNA sampling. mbrave workshop paper

We used a rapid eDNA biodiversity assessment method to determine patterns in observed biodiversity in the city of Trondheim, Norway. We asked i) how much total diversity could be detected from the selected locations and, ii) if different locations yield different estimates of diversity such as that between ponds located within the Ringve botanical garden compared to a pond near the Sverresborg Folk Museum or iii) those between freshwater and marine.
