Sylvan Ascent Inc. has made available digitital maps derived from:

US Census Bureau's pioneering TIGER-Line data
USGS 3 Arc Second Digital Elevation Model (DEM) data
USGS Digital Line Graph (DLG) data
USGS Geographical Names Information System (GNIS) data

All data has been converted into AutoCAD DWG format for easy use in AutoCAD,
AutoCAD Map or ArcCAD software. Each map corresponds to a USGS 7 minute map,
with the USGS naming convention (ie. 34106-E1) used to facilitate locating the
map you need. Road names have been added, and conversion has been made to
state-plane coordinate systems.

Maps are available for all 50 states, and include layers for legends, roadways,
hydrologic data, contours in either 50 or 100 ft. intervals, landmarks, etc.

Layers for the Public Land Survey System are available for some states at
additional cost.

Each CD volume also includes a USGS 1:2 Million DLG map denoting boundaries,
highways, water features, US government boundaries, and railroads.

Maps are distributed with an entire state on a CD-ROM with the following
exceptions:

California is two CDs, north & south of 37
Texas is two CDs, east & west of 99
Montana is two CDs, north & south of 47
Vermont and New Hampshire are together in a single CD
Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island are together in a single CD
New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and the District of Columbia are together on one
CD.

Utilities are included with each CD allow for:

Map cross reference, simplified downloading and adjacent quadrangles
Conversion from single-line to double-line roads with intersection clean-up
Coordinate system conversion to latitude-longitude, UTM, Albers and NAD 83
Contour elevation labeling
Polyline vertices connect across map boundaries
DXF output
