National Ocean Partnership Program Global Internal Wave Study: California Internal Wave Resolving Array - L3 Hourly CPIES Data

These data records are level-3 (L3) hourly data from 8 current- and pressure-sensor-equipped inverted echo sounders (CPIESs, C1-C8) and 1 pressure-sensor-equipped inverted echo sounder (PIES, C9) deployed west of California as part of an Internal Wave Resolving (IWR) Array deployed through the the National Ocean Partnership Program (NOPP) Global Internal Wave (GIW) Study from September 2023-October 2024. Records from two earlier deployments in the region are also included: PL, which was a PIES deployed September 2019 - January 2020 and W1, which was a CPIES deployed March - September 2023. The variable names, units, and meta data, as well as the processing steps used to generate these quality-controlled hourly records are described in a companion technical report.
