Having previously characterised the roles of H3K4, H3K9 and H3K27 methylation in E. festucae(Chujo & Scott, 2014; Lukito et al., 2019), in this study we analysed the role of another important histone methylation mark, namely H3K36 methylation by analysing the role of SetB, the single KMT3 member of H3K36 methyltransferase in the fungus.
