Data and Matlab code for "Intergenerational redistribution in a pay-as-you-go pension system" by Jacob Lundberg, published in the Journal of the Economics of Ageing. Contains aggregate data at the annual and cohort levels, e.g., pension benefits and contributions, incomes, population and life expectancy, for Sweden 1960–2021.
The main file is Matlab/pensions.m. Run this and all figures and tables in the article will be replicated.
