Effective and Expected Daily Power Consumption

This dataset includes the daily power consumption as well as the electricity consumption calculated by a model based on the calendar day and the weather.The electricity consumption is the sum of the electrical energy that is obtained daily from the grid in the canton of Basel-Stadt, including network losses. The daily electricity consumption is the sum of the electricity consumption shown every quarter of an hour in the OGD dataset “Cantonal power consumption” (https://data.bs.ch/explore/dataset/100233/). Electrical energy consumed locally directly at the place of production (e.g. from photovoltaic systems), which will not be injected into the public grid, is not included in the available data.
