Aggregated TMMS-24 Data on Perceived Emotional Intelligence in Pre-service Teachers and Their Family Members
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains aggregated descriptive statistics from a study of perceived emotional intelligence among pre-service teachers at the University of Zaragoza, Spain, and their participating family members. The analytical sample comprises 423 participants: 202 pre-service teachers and 221 relatives, representing 105 families with at least one linked relative. Perceived emotional intelligence was assessed using the Spanish Trait Meta-Mood Scale (TMMS-24), covering emotional attention, emotional clarity, and mood repair. The dataset provides two types of aggregated information: (1) descriptive statistics by participant role and emotional dimension, including sample sizes, means, standard deviations, and observed score ranges; and (2) descriptive summaries of paired student–relative differences by family role and emotional dimension. TMMS-24 scores were calculated from the 24 self-report items, with eight items per dimension and possible scores ranging from 8 to 40. The shared files do not contain individual questionnaire responses, personal identifiers, family linkage codes, timestamps, or individual demographic records. These aggregated data support examination of descriptive results and simple paired differences. However, they do not permit independent reproduction of the family-clustered marginal model, its confidence intervals, or multiplicity-adjusted statistical tests. Individual-level data are not publicly shared because of participant privacy considerations and the family-linked structure of the original responses.
