Thermal Comfort Survey Data - Utrecht, Netherlands
收藏资源简介:
Anonymised thermal comfort survey data collected across 16 sites in four neighbourhoods of Utrecht (Kanaleneiland, Rivierenwijk, Zuilen, Ondiep), gathered under the Urban ReLeaf project (Horizon Europe, Grant Agreement No. 101086638) as part of the campaign "Groene Buurt, Koele Buurt" ("Green Neighbourhood, Cool Neighbourhood"), run by Natuur en Milieufederatie Utrecht (NMU) on behalf of the municipality and the province. The survey explores how heat is experienced at sites previously identified by residents as notably warm or cool, covering perceived thermal comfort, the factors that make a place feel warm or cool, whether respondents would stay at the site, and demographics. Fielded in Dutch, in two questionnaire versions reflecting a mid-season instrument revision, through two collection modes: a digital form via the Partimap app (82 responses) and a paper form transcribed afterwards (82 responses), 164 responses in total. An English-translated version of the harmonised file is also provided (column headers and categorical values only; free text remains in Dutch). A map of the 16 survey sites, labelled with response counts, is also included. Personal and directly identifying data have been removed. See the accompanying data dictionary for variable definitions and collection methodology.
