Basigin homodimerises

Basigin (Bsg) is a highly glycosylated transmembrane protein belonging to the Ig superfamily with two Ig domains. Bsg forms homo-oligomers on the plasma membrane in a cis-dependent manner. The N-terminal Ig-like domain is functionally important in oligomer formation. <br>Basigin（Bsg）是一种高度糖基化的跨膜蛋白，隶属于Ig超家族，并具有两个Ig结构域。Bsg在质膜上以顺式依赖的方式形成同源寡聚体。N端类似Ig的结构域在寡聚体的形成中发挥着至关重要的作用。
