Survey on potential export markets of SMEs in selected Nordic countries 2017

This statistic displays the result of a survey on the most potential export markets for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in selected Nordic countries in 2017. Overall, Sweden, Germany, Denmark and Norway were the most attractive new export markets. 29 percent of total number of respondents planned export activities to Sweden. For SMEs in Norway and Finland, Sweden was seen as the most potential export market. Sweden and Denmark, on the other hand, were keen to start exporting to Germany. According to a survey, the main challenges for export activities of Nordic SMEs were posed by administrative and bureaucratic factors.
