This dataset collects invention patent data related to the smart wearables field from patent databases. It is used to understand the current status of patent value in this field, the disparities in technological innovation capabilities and innovation levels among enterprises, as well as the technological development trends of the smart wearables industry, so as to better serve customers in this field. a. Patent validity score: The number of years from today (December 15, 2023, the date of data download) to the estimated expiration date of the patent, with 1 point awarded per year. b. Inventor count score: 1 point awarded for each inventor, calculated based on the actual number of inventors listed. 2. Agency status score: 5 points if the patent is represented by a patent agency, 0 points otherwise. c. Cited-by count score: 10 points added for each time the patent is cited by other patents. d. Citation count score: 2 points added for each time the patent cites other patents. e. Patent family count score: 1 point added for each additional patent family member beyond the baseline of 1 patent family. f. Claim count score: Based on a baseline of 10 claims, 1 point is deducted for each claim fewer than 10, and 1 point is added for each claim more than 10. g. Transfer count score: 5 points added for each transfer of the patent. The total score is calculated as a+b+c+d+e+f+g, which serves as the patent value data.
