EU Energy Case Law Corpus: 338 English-language CJEU documents (1998–2025)

This dataset contains the 338 English-language EU energy case-law documents (1998–2025) used in the article "NLP and LLM Pipeline Evaluation on EU Energy Case Law". The documents were collected from the CURIA case-law database of the Court of Justice of the European Union (https://curia.europa.eu), with the filters Court of Justice and General Court and subject matter Energy. The file has one JSON object per line with these fields: case_number, doc_type, date, parties, subject, docid, meta_url, print_url, eurlex_url and text (the full English text). Source: Court of Justice of the European Union. The texts are reproduced free of charge and are not the authentic versions. The text of each document was taken from its CURIA print page and saved as plain text, with the HTML markup and extra blank lines removed.
