METHODOLOGY FOR DEVELOPING LISTENING COMPREHENSION COMPETENCE OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE STUDENTS THROUGH AUTHENTIC AUDIO AND VIDEO MATERIALS

This study examines the methodology for developing listening comprehension competence among Foreign Language and Literature students through authentic audio and video materials. Using a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach, the study explores the pedagogical value of authentic multimedia resources in improving listening skills, communicative competence, and intercultural awareness. The findings indicate that the systematic integration of authentic materials through pre-listening, while-listening, and post-listening activities significantly enhances students' listening performance, motivation, and autonomous learning. The study concludes that authentic multimedia resources provide an effective methodological framework for modern foreign language education.
