Australian Water Observations from Space (WOfS) - Extracts and reclassification grids for the Lake Eyre Basin bioregion

## **Abstract** \n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme. This parent dataset is identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.\n\n\n\nAustralian Water Observations From Space (WOfS) - Water Summary, Filtered (GUID: 719a5433-2af0-4601-8036-a03f77199442) is a gridded dataset indicating areas where surface water has been observed using the Geoscience Australia (GA) Earth observation satellite data holdings. The WOfS product Version 1.0 includes observations taken between 1998 and 2012 (inclusive) from the Landsat 5 and 7 satellites. WOfS version 1.5 includes observations from 1987 to March 2014. Future versions of the product will extend the temporal range and diversify the data sources. WOfS covers all of mainland Australia and Tasmania but excludes off-shore Territories.\n\n\n\nThis dataset is a clipped subset of the above.
