Hiring freezes, downsizing and outsourcing plans in the global insurance sector 2022

More than 80 percent of insurance CEOs globally have considered or will consider downsizing their employee base in the next six months to prepare for an anticipated recession, according to a survey carried out in mid-2022. The probability of a U.S. recession was highest in the second half of 2023.
