The integrated dataset represents the synthesis of all deliverables produced within the framework of the Interreg Italy-Croatia project CRESCO Adria-Climate Resilient Coastal Planning in the Adriatic (https://www.italy-croatia.eu/web/crescoadria) for the New Pescara pilot case (Pescara, Montesilvano and Spoltore). It does not constitute a standalone product, but rather a component of a single, integrated analytical process. The thematic GIS datasets developed for the pilot area were produced within a common spatial framework and according to harmonised classification schemes. Taken together, they provide the hazard, exposure and territorial transformation components underpinning the integrated territorial diagnosis. Individual layers are normalised and combined into a composite territorial risk index, subsequently analysed using Local Indicators of Spatial Association (LISA) to identify statistically significant clusters of risk, and interpreted to assign a Climate Adaptation Territorial Profile to each analysis cell. These profiles are then inherited by the Territorial Planning Units generated through the aggregation of contiguous cells sharing the same classification. The morpho-climatic characterisation is based on the Local Climate Zones (LCZ) classification, which partitions the urban and peri-urban environment into homogeneous classes according to urban morphology, building density, building height and land-cover characteristics. Interpreted together with indicators of soil sealing and building density, the LCZ framework captures the thermal and hydrological behaviour of different urban contexts and contributes to the diagnostic conditions underpinning the classification. Spatial entropy measures are used to evaluate the degree of local homogeneity and identify transitional areas characterised by greater spatial complexity. Accordingly, each dataset retains its own thematic and documentary value, while its full significance emerges only when considered as part of the complete integrated series. Collectively, these datasets support the transition from climate risk assessment to the operational planning of climate adaptation measures for the New Pescara pilot area.
