Historical built-up intensity layer (BUI) Version II - gridded surfaces for the U.S. from 1810 to 2020

These files are part of the dataset "Historical built-up intensity layer series for the U.S. 1810 – 2020", contained in the dataverse “HISDAC-US: Historical Settlement Data Compilation for the United States” (https://dataverse.harvard.edu/dataverse/hisdacus). The BUI.tar.gz archive contains a time series if geospatial raster layers with pixel values representing the built-up intensity (BUI, i.e., the sum of indoor areas of all structures in that pixel) at 250m spatial resolution and 5 years temporal resolution. The other archives contain positional, thematic and temporal uncertainty layers (or raster series). The files are organized in .tar.gz archives. The readme file provides additional information.
