资源简介:

Epistemic Security Score (ESS) v1.0 This dataset contains the Epistemic Security Score (ESS) v1.0, a composite index measuring the resilience of national information environments across all 27 European Union member states. It was developed within doctoral research on epistemic security and Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (FIMI) mechanisms in France and the European Union (Centre d'Études Diplomatiques et Stratégiques, Paris, 2026). The ESS aggregates four positively oriented sub-indices, normalised on a 0 to 1 interval by fixed bounds: CRP (platform resilience), ITI (institutional trust), IQD (democratic quality) and IERI (information environment robustness). The score runs from 0 to 100, where 100 denotes maximal epistemic resilience. Denmark ranks first and Hungary last. Every input is traceable to a named primary source (Reuters Institute Digital News Report, CMPF Media Pluralism Monitor, Eurobarometer EB103, V-Dem v16, RSF World Press Freedom Index), documented in the SOURCES_LOCK sheet, with the full calculation reproduced cell by cell in the EU27_CALC sheet. The ESS v1.0 is an exploratory prototype: a priority disclosure record and dataset documentation, not yet an externally validated instrument. The package includes the calculation workbook, a 16-page deposit document, and bilingual READMEs.
