Cold-water coral (soft corals and sea pens) sampling in Baffin Bay, Nunavut, 2017

Soft corals and sea pens are the main coral groups in the Eastern Canadian Arctic, but little is known about their functional roles. In this study, samples of cold-water corals (soft corals and sea pens) were collected and subsampled as part of a project focused on better understanding the trophic ecology of cold-water soft corals in the region.
