This is an accumulative series containing the proceedings of mainly state and national weights and measure conferences, which were attended by personnel from the Weights and Measures Branch of the Chief Secretarys Department (VA 475), the Local Government Department (VA 601), Ministry of Consumer Affairs (VA 1026), and the Department of Business and Employment (VA 3096).These conference proceedings and other related reports, printed material and papers, were accumulated in the course of the Weights and Measure Branch fulfilling its responsibility to administer the provisions of the Weights and Measures Acts.
