Sustainability assessment of dairy production systems: Guide for the collection of farm environmental and economic data

This document is designed to guide the data collector when completing the MilKey data template at data collection, specifically for the environmental and economic parts. In addition to this introduction, the document is divided into six sections. The first four sections correspond to the first four parts of the MilKey template (i.e., Part I: General farm information and crop production, Part II: Dairy enterprise, Part III: Beef enterprise, and Part IV: Economic data). They define all variables to be recorded one by one. The last two sections provide additional information to fill out the template, notably regarding the pre-entered variable lists used throughout the MilKey template and guidelines to record labour inputs.
