Logistics Performance Index

The Logistics Performance Index overall score reflects assessments of a country's logistics based on efficiency of the customs clearance process, quality of trade- and transport-related infrastructure, ease of arranging competitively priced shipments, quality of logistics services, ability to track and trace consignments, and frequency with which shipments reach the consignee within the scheduled time. The index ranges from 1 to 5, with a higher score representing better performance. Data are from Logistics Performance Index surveys conducted by the World Bank in partnership with academic and international institutions and private companies and individuals engaged in international logistics. 2011 round of surveys covered more than 6,000 country assessments by nearly 1,000 international freight forwarders. Respondents evaluated eight markets on six core dimensions using a scale from 1 (worst) to 5 (best). The markets are chosen based on the most important export and import markets of the respondent's country, random selection, and, for landlocked countries, neighboring countries that connect them with international markets. Scores for the six areas are averaged across all respondents and aggregated to a single score using principal components analysis. 该指数分值区间为1至5分，得分越高代表物流绩效表现越佳。
本数据集的数据来源于世界银行（World Bank）联合学术界、国际机构、从事国际物流业务的私营企业及个人共同开展的物流绩效指数调研。
2011年的调研覆盖了近1000家国际货运代理机构完成的6000余份国家物流绩效评估报告。
受访机构以1分（最差）至5分（最佳）的评分标准，从六大核心维度对8个目标市场进行了评估。
目标市场的选取依据包括受访机构所在国的主要进出口贸易伙伴市场、随机抽取的市场，以及内陆国家用以连通国际市场的周边邻国。
六大维度的得分首先对所有受访机构的评分取算术平均值，随后通过主成分分析法（Principal Components Analysis）整合为单一总体得分。
