Site index equations for Taiwania cryptomerioides plantations in Liu-guei experimental forests with stem analysis data

The important achievement of this study is to use guide curve method and differential equation method to lead the site index curves of Taiwania plantation of Liu-Kuei forests of Taiwan Forestry Research Institute (including Feng-Kong area and Dou-Na area). Above methods were compared, too. The base data was got from the results of stem analysis. The results indicate that guide curve method is more simple and easy to carry out but the differential equation method has better fitness.
