River water bodies (Update December 2017 PTA three-year period 2014-2016)

River water bodies Protection Plan.The Water Protection Plan is part of Decision No 1386/2013/EU of 20 November 2013 on a General Union Environment Action Programme to 2020 ‘Living well within the limits of our planet’, which aims, among other objectives, to protect, conserve and improve the Union’s natural capital, to protect Union citizens from environmental pressures and risks to health and well-being, to improve the cognitive and scientific bases of Union environmental policy, as well as environmental integration and policy coherence and sustainability. DECEMBER 2017 UPDATE.
