Master Link Canada

Created using location intelligence software to perform point-in-polygon operations with address and boundary data, Precisely's Master Link product provides a flat file of addresses associated to boundaries.

With Master Link, users don’t need to perform complex and time-consuming geospatial processing to understand the relationships between an address and the boundaries it falls within. Insights into customer activity, neighborhoods, and township administration are available through a quick and simple lookup. Master Link Canada includes over 16.6 Million PreciselyID lookups for the entire country of Canada.

Using the PreciselyID unique address identifier, Master Link can be used to connect with other Precisely datasets with information related to properties, natural hazard risk, points of interest, and demographics.

Master Link associates Canadian addresses to the following polygonal boundaries:
• Canadian Census Boundaries
• Canadian Neighborhoods
• Metro Areas
• Time Zones

Some sample fields for each address:
- PBKey (PreciselyID) a unique id for every addressable location in Canada (over 16.6 Million)
- Metro Name
- Neighborhood Name
- Sub-Neighborhood Name
- Census division name
- Census metropolitan area or census agglomeration name
- ADA Code (8 digits)
- DA Code (8 digits)
- Time zone & DST info
