资源简介:
The deposited materials support the study of deformation mechanisms and deformation instabilities in semicrystalline high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and its modifications with paraffin wax and chloroform. The investigated materials include neat HDPE as well as HDPE systems modified through blending with paraffin wax and swelling with chloroform, allowing a comparative analysis of the influence of changes in the amorphous phase on the mechanical response of the material. The collection includes experimental results associated with the characterization of the mechanical behavior of the investigated polymer systems during plastic deformation. The provided data focus on the analysis of tensile deformation behavior and the evolution of mechanical response during the drawing process. The experimental component includes stress–strain responses obtained from uniaxial tensile tests performed on HDPE and modified HDPE systems. Mechanical tests were carried out using an Instron 5582 universal testing machine at room temperature. Dumbbell-shaped specimens with a thickness of 1 mm and a gauge length of 10 mm were tested at a constant crosshead speed of 0.01 mm/s. The experiments provide information on yield behavior, plastic flow, strain hardening, and the development of deformation instabilities during tensile loading. The dataset also includes X-ray diffraction results used for the characterization of the crystalline structure of the investigated materials. The attached materials are provided in the form of data files containing stress–strain responses and structural characterization data used in the analysis presented in the associated scientific publication.
