This volume contains a paper presented by J.J.C Bradfield, Chief Engineer Sydney Harbour Bridge. In the paper he presents a brief history of the proposal for a bridge across Sydney Harbour. The paper outlines the design and capacities of the bridge to be built, as well as the construction of the bridge and estimated cost. The paper also deals with the electrification of the city and suburban rail lines.The volumes also contains photographs of the slides used in the presentation of the paper.Custody HistoryThis record series was handed to the Archives Authority of NSW on 11 June 1968 by the Bradfield family. It was apparently an archival estray.
