Non-European Mathematics Manuscripts: Modern LaTeX Drafts and Source Artifacts
收藏资源简介:
Linked thematic record for the Modern LaTeX Editions of Public-Domain Mathematics Manuscripts project. This record collects modern LaTeX draft PDFs and source artifacts for non-European mathematics texts and related historical witnesses, with Chinese, Indian, and Islamic/Arabic mathematical works represented in the current release. Top-level PDFs are organized by work for direct download. The artifact ZIP preserves selected source TeX/PDF chunks, all rebuilt combined reader PDFs, manifests, audits, and review notes. These are machine-assisted draft editions for checking and continuation, not proofed critical editions. Status: [########--] 20 reader PDFs exposed / 22 rebuilt combined drafts. 2 rebuilt drafts are retained in artifacts rather than promoted to the reader surface because the current visual audit flags sparse or near-blank sampled pages. Workflow provenance: ChatGPT web is used to identify and prioritize older public-domain or otherwise suitable works for transcription and translation; readers are welcome to suggest works or point to better public PDFs/scans. Codex downloads and indexes public-domain scans and source packets, prepares working folders, audits files, and publishes organized releases through the Zenodo API. Large-scale transcription systems are used to convert scans into TeX. ChatGPT Pro/web review is used to check, repair, and eventually translate the TeX. The public organization here is by author, work, or coherent corpus; internal tool/run names are not used as public-facing titles.
