Comparative molecular fecal microbiota analysis of bobcats (Lynx rufus) and domestic cats (Felis catus)

To explore and describe fecal microbiota of captive and wild bobcats using next-generation sequencing of the V4 region of the bacterial 16S rRNA gene, and compare the results to that of domestic cats. The collected data may allow for better understanding of the biology and can aid in the captive management of bobcats.本研究通过细菌16S核糖体RNA（16S rRNA）基因V4区的下一代测序技术，对圈养与野生短尾猫的粪便微生物群进行探究与表征，并将测序结果与家猫进行对比。本次采集获得的数据可助力深化对短尾猫生物学特性的认知，同时可为其圈养管理提供辅助支撑。
