Support of Comprehensive Monitoring Program Wetlands Evaluation Through Monitoring and Assessment of Santa Monica Bay Estuaries Project

The Santa Monica Bay National Estuary Program Comprehensive Monitoring Program (CMP) identifies many data gaps for this habitat, including spatial and temporal gaps within certain indicators (e.g., habitat extent for small estuaries) or complete lack of data for others (e.g., several climate vulnerability indicators). The goal of the project was to fill monitoring and assessment needs for the coastal wetland habitat of the CMP by prioritizing data collection at small, intermittently open estuaries within Santa Monica Bay. We provide fish community data via eDNA in Santa Monica Bay, CA.
