This project creates various cancer cell lines with p53 mutation status as the only variable to profile TE and TE-derived chimeric transcripts regulation dynamics. Using long-read RNA-seq, we created a high confidence atlas detailing TEs with promoter potentials. The goal of this project is to help provide more clarity in the pleiotropic interaction between p53 and TE in cancer cells.
