Digital Archive from an Archaeological Excavation at Thorney Green Road, Stowupland, Suffolk, January-November 2020

This collection comprises images, databases, spreadsheets, and GIS data from an archaeological excavation on land west of Thorney Green Road, Stowupland, Suffolk. This work was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology between January and November 2020. Considerable evidence was uncovered from multiple periods including the Middle Iron Age (large ditch dating that extended the full width of the excavation area; remains of a roundhouse), Early Roman/Late Iron Age (enclosures and field boundaries, pottery assemblage), and medieval period (enclosure and field boundary ditches, environmental remains, ceramic and metalwork assemblage metalworks).
