资源简介:
The Prince Rupert CODAR Array was deployed on 2016-03-23 at Chatham Sound. Chatham Sound is a sound on the North Coast of British Columbia, located between Dundas and Stephens Islands and the Tsimpsean Peninsula near Prince Rupert. This device is a Oceanographic Radar System. Oceanographic radars measure the ocean surface currents and waves in near real-time, by timing reflected radio waves, and contribute to an accurate prediction of severe weather conditions. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
