Icaritin, a flavonoid derived from the traditional Chinese medicine herb Epimedium, has shown significant potential for cancer therapy, particularly for highly lethal cancers like liver cancer. Despite its promise, the fine morphological patterns and molecular mechanisms underlying Icaritin-induced paraptosis on pancreatic cancer cells have not been extensively explored. This transcriptomics data demonstrates the gene expression changes of epimedium action on pancreatic cancer cells for 6 hours, providing some theoretical basis for the development of Icaritin and the treatment of pancreatic cancer.
