These datasets are count tables of annotated transcript abundances for planktonic microbial populations, that were sampled every 4 hours at different depths in the North Pacific Subtroptical Gyre. They are part of the dataset included in a manuscript now in review at Frontiers in Microbiology entitled: Diel oscillation of microbial gene transcription declines with increasing depth in oligotrophic ocean waters, by Alice Vislova, Oscar Sosa, John M. Eppley, Anna E. Romano, and Edward F. DeLong. Deposited August 5, 2019.本数据集为浮游微生物种群的注释转录本丰度计数表，其样本采集自北太平洋副热带环流（North Pacific Subtroptical Gyre）的不同深度，采样频率为每4小时一次。该数据集属于一篇目前正在《微生物学前沿》（Frontiers in Microbiology）审稿中的手稿的组成部分，该手稿标题为《寡营养海域中微生物基因转录的昼夜振荡随深度增加而衰减》，作者为Alice Vislova、Oscar Sosa、John M.
