LV Monitor Deployment Strategy

Our LV Monitor Deployment Strategy dataset provides data about the low voltage (LV) monitors Northern Powergrid has committed to deploying in ED3. This dataset shows our shortlist of selected sites, of which 10,000 monitors will be deployed based upon on-site investigations. We have selected the sites based on customer numbers, transformer utilisation, feeder utilisation, low carbon technology penetration and IDNO connections.

The background on LV monitor deployment, reasoning behind the selection criteria and how the installations are prioritised is detailed in the methodology document which can be found in the export tab.
