Inter-basin water transfer projects in the Yellow River Basin by 2040

Data on the inter-basin water transfer projects were collected from multiple sources, including literature, official reports, water resources bulletins, and planning documents. Key information gathered includes the year each project began transferring water, the source and receiving sub-basins, and the specified water transfer capacity. These projects encompass those that are currently operational, under construction, and planned (for which environmental impact reports have been submitted), covering a period of nearly 70 years (i.e., from the 1970s to 2040).
