In order to evaluate the effects of RIZ2 overexpression on gene expression, a pilot expression study was performed through microarrays analysis. We compared the differential gene expression between HEK-293 cells overexpressing human RIZ2 (pEGFP-hRIZ2) and rat RIZ1 (pEGFP-rRIZ1) versus control cells transfected with the E-GFP empty vector alone (pEGFP). Overall design: four-condition experiment, pEGFP vs pEGFP_hRIZ2 cells and rRIZ1 and rRIZ1+hRIZ2. Biological replicates: 1 control triplicates, 1 transfected triplicates.
