NRS-13755 | Registers of letters received under blank cover from the Colonial Secretary

The registers give the following information: the number of the Colonial Secretary's blank cover reference (in the volume covering 1837-39); the registration number given by the Colonial Secretary's Office to the letter; the name of the person who wrote the letter to the Colonial Secretary; reference to the number of previous papers where such existed; the date on which the Surveyor General's report on the letter was sent to the Colonial Secretary; the number of the Surveyor General's reply in Copies of reports and memoranda sent under blank cover to the Colonial Secretary; and a summary of the subject on which the Surveyor General's report was requested. Prior to 1837 blank cover letters received from the Colonial Secretary are registered in the ordinary Registers of letters received from the Colonial Secretary.(2/1794-97). 4 vols.
