Attitudes of young Europeans on the EU.<br>Topics: effectiveness of each of the following measures with regard to augmenting young people’s interest in Europe: teach European languages in primary school, make learning of an extra foreign language compulsory, make Europe a topic for study at school, put up a map of Europe in every classroom, spend a part of personal education in another European country, replace a national holiday by a European bank holiday, promote cooperation between national employment agencies to allow easier access to jobs in Europe; importance of each of the following issues to be dealt within the convention on the future of the EU: democracy and respect for human rights, efficiency of European institutions, enlargement of the EU, fight against unemployment, social exclusion and poverty, role of the European Union on the international scene, security of European citizens, immigration and asylum policies within the member states of the EU, food safety, environmental protection.
